Manager
The Uppy’s Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within the facility, including, but not limited to:

• Professional interaction when directing staff members
• Solving customer service issues
• Producing a work schedule for all staff
• Handling deposits
• Completing required paperwork

Previous experience as a retail store manager preferred but not required.

Assistant Manager

The Uppy’s Assistant Manager position requires proficiency in all areas of sales and customer services as it relates to retail convenience store operation. This position is responsible for the following and more:

• Professional interaction when directing staff members
• Solving customer service issues
• Learning the functions required of the Manager in regards to scheduling
• Handling deposits
• Handling required paperwork
• Serving in the capacity of the Manager when the Manager is off duty.

Previous experience in retail, especially as an assistant manager, is preferred but not required.

Cashier

Uppy’s cashiers are responsible for efficiently handling all customer transactions required in the convenience store operation, including gasoline sales, charge cards, lottery, money orders and various other technical requirements. A high level of customer service skills is required and the ability to responsibly and accurately meet all requirements to sell tobacco and alcohol without violation is paramount.

Previous experience in retail is preferred but not required.

Deli Assistant

Uppy’s Deli Assistant position requires efficiency in the preparation of made-to-order food items for sale to the public in accordance with the guidelines and requirements regarding the franchise and the State Health Department regulations. Uppy’s currently has franchise arrangements with Subway, Dairy Queen and as well as our own Uppy's Deli and Uppy's Cafe restaurants.

Additionally, the Uppy’s Deli Assistant will handle sales transactions at the register and provide a high level of customer service in all instances.
